Stem Quest Academy

A privacy-first Computer Science and AI academy for young learners, built on WordPress and Divi with a fully integrated LMS — explicitly engineered without the social-media-style tracking common in modern EdTech.

0third-party tracking scripts, by design

Challenge

Most EdTech platforms for young learners bundle in social-media-style tracking and data harvesting as a side effect of the tools they're built on. Stem Quest Academy needed a full Learning Management System — course delivery, live scheduling, quizzes, multi-level certification, mentor-led progress tracking — without inheriting that surveillance model, in a market where "safe by default" usually gets sacrificed for speed.

Approach

We built a custom-tailored LMS inside WordPress on the Divi framework rather than bolting on a generic plugin, giving full control over which scripts and trackers ship. The platform bridges passive video-watching with active, mentor-led creation through a custom course builder, real-time progress tracking, and secure student-mentor portals, while Divi's design system delivers a responsive, "elite academy" interface without the tradeoffs of a heavier LMS stack.

Outcome

Stem Quest Academy runs as a safe, family-oriented alternative to data-heavy learning platforms — zero third-party tracking scripts, a scalable course and certification system, and a design built to feel professional rather than institutional, positioning it as a trusted partner for CS and AI education.
